Contracheck

The idea for "Contracheck" was to produce a unique wine which would distinguish itself from more traditional wines produced. While the wine will always be predominantly cabernet franc, the blend will vary from year to year, depending on the weather and harvest so as to produce a taste initially very creamy on the palate, but which will become fuller and fuller with age.

This tempranillo is very unique -- nothing like it on the market. At 14C, it has a very full-bodied taste and holds up very well to steaks, etc. At 16C, it is even fuller on the palate, and is aging well. We could describe it as charcoal, smoky, mineral, cherry, clove, earthy, low acidity.
